Help us open the lab. Be a founder.
We're raising $39,350 to open NovoCreation Makerspace in Connecticut. Three founder tiers, real perks, public budget, refund guarantee if we don't open by February 28, 2027. No mystery.
No platform fees. No mystery. No equity.
You request a founder tier, we hold your spot while staff reviews it, and we email a secure Stripe payment link after approval. Your perks lock in for the lab's opening day. If we don't open the doors by February 28, 2027, every founder gets a full refund — no support tickets, no negotiation. We email the lab address + your activation details the moment we sign the lease.
Pick a tier
Three sizes — $95, $495, $2,500. Each one buys real launch perks plus your name on the Founders Wall.
Request, review, then pay
Your request holds the spot while staff reviews it. Once approved, we email you a secure Stripe link to finish payment; your portal login + receipt follow by email.
Planned opening January 31, 2027
Once the lease is signed and equipment is ordered, you get the address, the activation email, and your perks lock in for the doors-open date.
Three ways to be there at launch.
Each tier has hard caps — once they sell through, they sell through. Studio Founder is six spots only.

Where every dollar goes.
Total goal: $39,350. The breakdown on the right is the equipment list, build-out, and first three months of operating costs. The $2,998 cushion is already included in that capped goal for the inevitable surprises during fit-out; the 136 founder spots do not collect beyond it.
We publish the actual receipts post-opening. You can ask any founder for them.

Permanent. On the wall. From Day 1.
Every founder gets their name on the wall — etched into a brass plaque just inside the entrance. Day Zero gets a small spot, Bench gets a medium plaque, Studio Founders get a large plaque + naming rights on a piece of equipment (yes, it really says The [Your Name] Bambu X1C on the actual machine).
See the Founders Wall →Small plaque
100 spots. Brass, etched, mounted at the entrance from opening day. Your name stays — not behind a paywall, not conditional on renewal.
Medium plaque
30 spots. Brass, etched, mounted at the entrance from opening day. Your name stays — not behind a paywall, not conditional on renewal.
Large + equipment plaque
6 spots. Brass, etched, mounted at the entrance from opening day. Your name stays — not behind a paywall, not conditional on renewal.
The honest answers.
- What if you don't actually open?
- Full refund to the original card via Stripe — automatically, no support ticket, no questions. Trigger is February 28, 2027: if the lab isn't operating by that date, refunds run that week. Our planned opening is January 31, 2027; the additional window is for unexpected slips.
- Is this an investment? Do I get equity?
- No. NovoCreation is a single-member LLC and this is reward-based crowdfunding, not equity. You're buying the published perks for your selected tier — launch access, membership or discount benefits where listed, recognition, and naming rights for Studio — not shares. We're a for-profit business; the founder tiers are pre-sales, not donations.
- Why is this on the NovoCreation site instead of Kickstarter?
- No platform fee, no all-or-nothing funding model, no 14-day fund hold. Same Stripe checkout we use for regular passes — you pay direct, and you get a portal login for your founder account immediately.
- When can I redeem the perks?
- Day Zero passes are usable once during the first 30 days after the lab opens (currently planned for January 31, 2027). Membership tiers (Bench, Studio) also start the day the lab opens — Bench runs 6 months, Studio runs 12 months. The Founders Wall plaque is up before doors open. Naming rights on equipment go up at install.
- What if I want to cancel and refund before opening?
- The automatic full-refund guarantee applies if the lab is not operating by February 28, 2027. Individual cancellation requests before then follow our published cancellation policy; email [email protected] and we'll walk you through the options.
- Is the goal a hard cap?
- The campaign is capped by the 136 founder spots. Selling through every tier raises $39,350, including the cushion line in the public budget. We won't oversell the spots themselves; once a tier is sold out, the button comes off the page.
- What if a tier sells out before I get to it?
- Email [email protected] — we'll add you to a waitlist. If anyone refunds while the campaign remains open, the spot opens up first-come from that list.
